Henderson County Motorcycle Crash

On Friday, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Ray Hill Road, near NC 280, on Friday night. Very few details about this motorcycle crash have been released, but we do know that the motorcycle rider had to be airlifted from the scene. Initial reports indicate that the motorcycle rider somehow lost control of his motorcycle. The bike left the roadway and rolled several times before coming to a stop. Additionally, the rider was not wearing a D.O.T. complaint helmet at the time of the crash.

 

Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash

 

The rider, 27-year-old Brandon Wright, was rushed to Mission Hospital by helicopter for treatment of life-threatening injuries. At this time, there has been no word on his current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved. Also, no information has been released on how he lost control of his motorcycle. The cause of this motorcycle wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
