Pedestrian Safety in The U.S.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a variety of resources available for pedestrians and motorists to help improve roadway safety for everybody. The NHTSA's Everyone is Pedestrian campaign is all about raising awareness about the dangers facing pedestrians on U.S. roadways. Above all, drivers are reminded to pay attention to the road. Distracted driving is incredibly dangerous and puts the lives of pedestrians and other roadway users at risk for injury causing or potentially fatal crashes.

Pedestrian Accidents in Asheville

Pedestrians are still one of the most vulnerable roadway user groups in the U.S. With drivers texting and engaging in other dangerous behaviors behind the wheel, they more at risk for injury causing collisions than ever.
