Last week, two people were injured in a Buncombe County crash on Smokey Park Highway. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Thursday morning at the Interstate 40 interchange. Very little information has been released about this multi-vehicle wreck, but we do know that an RV was involved. Initial reports indicate that the RV was leaving the interstate at Exit 44, when it’s brakes failed.

The runaway RV reportedly hit three vehicles before stopping.  First responders and crews rushed to the scene, where at least two people had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
