On Tuesday morning, there was an injury crash involving a North Carolina Highway Patrol car in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Highway 25, at the intersection of Old Roper Road, sometime before 10:00 a.m. Very little information has been released about this crash, but initial reports indicate that the trooper was patrolling the northbound side of the highway in Henderson County. The trooper reportedly didn’t see that an SUV in front of him had slowed down for traffic. The patrol car slammed into the back of the SUV.
Two People Injured in State Trooper Crash in Henderson County
An ambulance was called to the scene, and two people who were in the SUV were transported to Pardee Hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, their injuries were not described as life threatening at the time of the news story. No other injuries were reported on the scene, and this crash is likely still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
